This solid copper basin is designed for precision work with sugar, chocolate, and distillation. Renowned for its superior thermal conductivity, copper ensures even heat distribution and exceptional control, making it the ideal material for caramelisation. Perfect for preparing jams from non-acidic fruits, caramels, meringues, and other delicate sweet recipes, it also helps preserve the natural colour of fruits, preventing darkening. Bare copper should not be used with acidic or salty foods.

The wide flat base provides excellent stability on the hob, including gas, while the rounded angle between the base and sides allows you to work every part of the mixture with ease and simplifies cleaning. Cast steel handles offer secure handling, and the open rolled edge ensures a hygienic, smooth finish without sharp edges.

Before first use, wash with hot soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid prolonged contact with acidic or alkaline ingredients and do not leave preparations to cool in the basin. Suitable for all heat sources except induction. Clean with a non-abrasive sponge, avoid detergents, and maintain the shine with a dedicated copper cleaner.
