Small pan - perfect for cooking blini, fritters and pancakes. Utensil from the Force Blue range in iron blued through a surface thermal treatment: temporary protection against oxidation; no coating.

Features:

  • Natural non-stick properties: gradual seasoning of the pan.
  • Riveted iron handle: unbreakable.
  • Season when first used.
  • Care: deglaze, rinse with warm water, dry and oil lightly. Store in a dry place.
  • Do not use detergents or put in the dishwasher.
  • All cook tops including moderate power induction.

This pan is made from carbon steel and needs to be seasoned prior to use. Instructions on how to do this can be found either on the pan's sleeve or at debuyer.com. Carbon steel is not dishwasher safe and will rust with prolonged exposure to water. This is not a manufacturing defect but is rather an inherent characteristic of steel, and unfortunately we do not accept returns of pans that have been left to rust. If you are looking for a more low-maintenance option, maybe consider De Buyer's stainless steel and non-stick ranges.
